Charles Chadwell ("Chad") Founder

- Chad started his career as a software engineer at General Dynamics in Ft. Worth, TX (now part of Lockheed Martin) which built the US Air Force F-16 Falcon. He has since worked in the software and semiconductor industries in design automation and simulation.

- He is an instrument-rated pilot and was part owner of a Cessna 182 which heightened his interest in aerodynamics. His sons Charlie and Alex have been his co-pilots when flying and in the development of the StrapWing. 

- Chad has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Clemson University and an MS in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin.
